I usually put up my best image of the day - unless I'm targeting a particular species -

I guess this is the reason why I do quite a goodly number of White Faced Herons - I hope you dont get sick of them? - I dont but then I'm a bit of a bird nut and I have a lot of time for the Heron - Graceful, handsome, and not too skittery.
The other day someone asked me if the heron was landing or taking off - it was definately taking off - this one is definately landing.
