Day fifty-nine: comfort
This last week has been a blur. Lots of extra time at work and working on Christmas presents and helping friends and all sorts of stuff.
My friend J is moving to Alaska toward the end of this month and I spent last night at her house. We packed and moved and laughed and sorted and priced things for the up-coming garage sale.
I will buy her couch from her, and, for now, she and I have swapped overstuffed chairs and couches. I have wanted a couch for awhile, but have been unable to afford one. The overstuffed chair is suiting a sitting need in her house, so it works.
J has introduced me and my dogs to putting a heating blanket down on the couch and soaking in the warmth. So, I am buying a heating blanket from her too :)
Tonight, I have the new couch and heating blanket in my apartment. I showed the dogs the heating blanket, but it was Puck who seemed to enjoy the blanket and new couch the most.
I think that this pic of Puck exemplifies wholeness: there is comfort. There is warmth. There is enough. There is love. There is peace.
