Gutted

So much for our gig tonight. There was no way we were risking driving through to Glasgow in the midst of Hurricane Bawbag. I'd been really looking forward to seeing him live too. Hopefully he'll play Scotland again soon.

Other than that it was a good birthday. I went into work, but the college was closing at noon because of the wind and my line manager was advising any staff who lived outside Edinburgh to head home earlier, so I got most of the day at home.

I got loads of nice presents too, I'd had early ones from Roz's mum the other day, but today I got a few more things including a Tilley hat and a couple of great photo books. This one from my mum, and this one from Dave and Sarah. They both look great.
