Smokey, 2104 hr
I found Smokey in the kitchen playing with a beautiful tiny wood mouse in the evening. I managed to prise him away to the living room and close the door, but as I was also on the wrong side of the door this presented certain logistical hurdles in freeing the mouse, and there was a rematch a bit later with the same outcome.
I wasn't able to catch the mouse but gave him sufficient time to escape his maze before allowing Smokey the run of the house again. I think the operation was successful as there was no rodent corpse on the floor this morning.
Here Smokey is a prisoner in the cat pound that doubles as my living room, on the windowsill in front of two water colours painted by my mother.
