This morning I skidded in the mud to the bench, followed close on my heels by a very hungry low flying robin who answers to the name of Little Larry. Every time I went to feed him today, he was waiting for me & every time he caught sight of me he sang SO LOUD as a greeting.... I've just ordered two sacks of live mealworms, both to feed him during Christmas, both are now in the fridge, to keep the worms dormant, yet alive...! Need to take them out once a week to feed them before they're fed... sounds gruesome, but, hey, without them, I wouldn't have Larry! And Larry wouldn't have me... :D
