Prima ballerina............?

Please excuse to poor quality of this blip, but it was taken on my phone, and as it's the only picture I took today, it has to be the one ..... it is also a very proud mummy moment ;0)

Tara has been doing ballet for about 4 months now and today was the end of term recital for parent. 6 four year olds trying to be light on their feet, and perform to music.. at any one time there was at least one of them crying or refusing to perform ;0) Fortunatley Tara behaved throughout although she did pull some unny faces.

Each week, they have a star of the week, for the pupil that makes the most effort, and today at the end of the performance they had a prize for the pupil who had been 'star of the week' most often..... and Tara won .... she also won a trophy for being the pupil with the second most stars of the week awarded in the whole school.

She was so excited an proud, and both were quite unexpected to us and her .... she isn't exactly the most graceful of children and is probably better suited for football than ballet ;0)

But she has been trying hard, and that's whst matters and we were both very proud of her ;0)

It was all I could do to stop her sleeping with the trophy ;0)
