Batman plays with dolls
A full on day. Early morning run along the Snells Beach front, with the rising sun reflecting over the mud flats and water. Too many to choose from, although I did eventually pick a favourite.
After breakfast the telecommunications line man came to sort out the non functioning phone jackpoint in the library/workroom by my desk, so that we can take the telephone out of the guest bedroom, and I can send faxes. Took him a while to get it working, and he thinks the new wiring needs to be checked on. Whatever he did has got it working, and in the process produced much faster internet connection. Should be good.
Daughter C and her husband and boys joined us here at the Beach House for what the Sydney based grandchildren had labelled the Kiwi Christmas. Lovely S and I were blessed with the presence of all three of our children (plus the spouses of two) and all four of our grandchildren for a meal and a small exchange of presents. With two other blippers (Jesafly and Tsuken) busily taking pictures, I took only a few.
I rather liked this picture of Miss 6 in her much appreciated Batman suit, playing with her equally appreciated Strawberry Shortcake doll.
Sunrises over Kawau Bay with the tide out have happened before, and been blipped before, and will be so again. This is a once only picture of a very happy little girl in a Batman suit.
