Strange names and a bus stop

A kind of follow-up from yesterday. This blip is taken from the other side of the street as I waited for the bus, hoping it would be the green energy one, but sadly it was not.
My feet were getting cold and it reminded me - when I get cold feet it always reminds me that I have forgotten something, socks for example - that I was going to mention yesterday. The name Sel-tjarnar-nes is three words, meaning Seal-pond-ness. Tomorrow I will take a picture of the seal-pond as it looks to day.
We like to put words together like that. The volcano Eyja-fjalla-jökull is also three words, meaning Island-mountain-glacier.
Simple, isn't it?
