100 years ago this was a piece of orvergrazed shortgrass prairie

Today it is an overgrazed remnant of shortgrass prairie, with a drilling rig for natural gas in the background and suburban sprawl in the distance.


tommorow it will be urban sprawl in an urban area that will match or surpass the Los Angles basin in population and size.

Unless people stop and think before we urbanize most of the inhabitable areas of planet earth. Lets hope we stop and think soon before it's too late.
