Snail Sunday

It turned into a DIY weekend - cue stir craziness and grouching all round so t'other half dragged us up to where he works to "look for his P60" what with the self assessment deadline looming and all. Whilst there we took the mutt for a run and the kids and I played hide and seek in the "maze" aka foot high knot garden. I spotted these snail shells whilst lying down in the pointy ouchy gravel and moved them to a sunny spot for a pic. With my phone.

A coffee in the nice restaurant later we came home, finished the job and allowed the kids back in front of the tv so they'd stop fighting.
