Hairy

It fascinates me just how hairy he is. It's not something we notice as they fly by but it certainly shows up in photos.

I've never been too adept at telling a bee from a wasp - but I assume this is a german wasp. Evil looking critter - I wonder if he is what the pictures of aliens are based on.
