A lot on her plate...
Bless the wife. She has shed loads going on at the moment. Grandma is not well so she has been waiting on her hand and foot and going the extra mile to make sure she is comfortable. G is going into hospital tomorrow so perhaps a welcome break for the wife but I suspect she will be spending a lot of time at her bedside.
As if that isn't enough, she is also looking after 3 children including the boy who never sleeps (see previous blips) and a wannabee sixteen year old (see previous blips).
So really, I wasn't expecting particularly fine cuisine this evening when I got home from work. In fact, I wasn't expecting anything at all. To my surprise, however, I returned from a long day to be greeted with a wonderful fish in a bag, roast potatoes and cous cous wrapped in pepper and very tasty it was too!
Of course, not being one to complain or moan, I have even overlooked the sticker that was left on the pepper, so I blipped it instead.
I hope one day when I am old and poorly, I have a grandchild like Em to look after me. I know someone upstairs will be very proud x x x x
