Peace

Great day today!

Visited Burghley House on the way up the A1 and enjoyed coffee and scrummy scones in the Orangery (beautiful ceiling) before walking in the grounds. The deer are very tolerant of people wandering about and gave loads of opportunities for blips.

Next stop off was Downtown for replacement red kettle and mug, then on to the American Diner for a snack (love the old music).

Finally to our daughters and my babies (of the dog variety). They never cease to amaze me in the way they behave. We only see them every couple of months and they are so pleased to see us (probably remember that I'm a softy for treats and B does a good line in football for Pippa).

The doggie boot camp training that they do when our daughter is in Nepal is paying off as they respond to my commands!!! They understand every word!! Dream on sunshine!!

Now settled with a G&T whilst daughter orders a "Chinese"!!
