Project Moon

I've set myself a little project. I'm going to try and photography all 28 days of a lunar month, i.e. one image of the moon for each of the 28 days of it's phase. The new moon started last Sunday so this is the 7th day in. If it's cloudy then I have to wait a full 28 days to get another shot at that particular phase. Might take a while to get the full set but it will make a nice image once get them all!

To shoot the moon, I'm using the Nikon D7000 fitted with a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 and 2x teleconverter making a 400mm lens, 600mm equivalent on the Nikon crop sensor. Not nearly enough to get some real detail but it's the best I can do for now!
