Tintagel

Went to Tintagel, which fortunately is open at the weekend during the winter season - unlike the rest of the village, where the majority of shops were closed. Having said that we did find a great gem/bead shop that will probably be the focus of blips next week.

The weather was amazing but I'd forgotten how steep/many steps there are - two days later and my calves still hurt.

The highlight of the visit was coming across a bird of prey (possibly a kestrel?) that was just hovering a couple of meters off the coast on one of the air currents. Andy took an awesome shot - this is how close he got :)
