On my way to Marks and Spencer to get our Friday night Indian food, I saw this plaque marking the home of Judith Gautier. She is part of the generation of women writers I've been researching. I love how you can stumble on this sort of thing here! (Unfortunately, I'd be shocked if many of the other women have plaques on their homes...).
