Rabbits in the headlights
Scotland A 35 - England Saxons 0
That's a score you don't see very often. I went south to Galashiels to watch this 2nd tier match before the big game tomorrow. It was absolutely baltic with lots of woolly hats and gloves; steam rising from the scrum and wings with their knees knocking.
The Saxons were not great it has to be said with a lot of excellent individuals, but not one team unit. Scotland however were what they were; an amalgam of Edinburgh & Glasgow players who continued where they'd left off in their club performances.
4 excellent tries and one player to watch out for in Stuart Hogg. He will surely be playing for the senior side before the 6Nations is out.
