Sitting Duck

Another sunny day! After a long phone chat with my sister C in Texas, more family history online research, and snapping some shots of Phil assembling my new kitchen island in the living room (more space and carpeted floor there), I went out for an afternoon walk/photo shoot at Lake Padden Park.

The ducks and other water birds were enjoying the sunshine and mild temperatures just as much as I was, and I took a lot of photos -- which meant a lot of editing, of course. This was my favorite, for the simple color palette, delicate reflections, and serene mood.

I've spent so long on photo editing that I don't have time to write more, but I will take time to wish you all a very pleasant weekend!
