Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA

Driving from Los Alamos to Santa Fe and the sun came out highlighting this rocky outcrop - just had to pull over and take advantage.

I purposely left the cars and the road in the shot just to show the vast scale of the landscape ..... not long after this the heavens opened and there was torrential rain!
