Exploring

My conference was just south of Pacific City, so we took a drive up there this evening for the sunset.

I had heard about the cliffs at Cape Kiwanda, so I left the boys on the beach with my husband and began the big hike up to the cliffs.

I wasn't prepared for what I found. The waves were completely insane and smashing against the cliff. There wasn't really any safe place to shoot, but I dared myself to try. I'm a little annoyed that I didn't get my settings right. I was so worried about getting swept out to sea, that I just couldn't focus.

And now that I'm uploading, I seem to have inadvertently deleted the really awesome movie I made. Time to go figure out how to recover deleted images from a CF card. Booh.
