Vasa Ship

C has started the looooong journey with the Vasa Ship Model she bought at the Vasa Museum in Stockholm in December. We realised that we won't be allowed to travel with paint, chemicals and glue, and therefore decided to buy the commodities in SA when we're back home.

What a mission, we could not find it anywhere in a radius of 60 to 70 kms. C Googled a lot on Sunday, and then I remembered about a shop in Centurion where R's sweet little A said her brother used to buy models and all the necessary paints and glue, etc, C Googled them, and it seemed like we would be able to get it from them!

Our dearly beloved first year student had a few hours between classes today, and he went to the 'Model Mania' shop - a stunning name, don't you think?, and purchased lots of paint for her! He is sooo proud that he can go do our shopping in the City for us now!! ;-)

C is on Cloud Nine, she started the 'Assembly Line' this afternoon, but it is a huge project, will probably take many months to finish, since time is not too freely available lately!! Hiehiehie!

I promise to keep you updated on the progress!!
