not (surprisingly) in Rankeillor Street

Another easier and slightly longer day at work but another early finish and lunch with a still-happier Nicky before heading slowly out to town for a little poke around. On Tuesday she had to stop and sit down after a bit when she got sore but today (and without any painkillers) she was mostly fine though insisted on stopping for a coffee and cakelet when she became suddenly tired. We bumped into one of her (informed) colleagues in a shop which at least got the first-meeting-someone-in-public out of the way. I'm surprised again how quickly the distance mounts up and how less visibly pained she is now compared to a couple of days ago. I was wondering if she might have wanted to just head straight home but she stayed in the shop, bought a very nice Sale! hat I recommended and walked home rather than getting the bus.
