Macaroons tonight

I spent about an hour this afternoon walking up and down a tow path and round a frozen lake taking pictures. I even had two or three suitable to upload. Then I came home tonight and saw these, two quick photos and the decision was easy.
My wife has friends coming round tonight so our son has been baking. I am hoping they will not all get eaten but I think that is unlikely.
