Lone coot

Beautiful weather here today so not a difficult decision to make the 15 minute cycle to Radley Lakes for a quick lunchtime stroll.

I'm not very good with bird names but spied this solitary coot (thanks JS) from the boardwalk in one corner of Thrupp Lake. It's part of the Radley Wetlands Centre and (after a long battle by locals to "Save the lakes") is looked after by the Earth Trust.
