Little or Large?

No trick photography!

Galanthus plicatus and Narcissus asturiensis. The daffodil was once known as Narcissus minimus. It is the smallest trumpet daffodil, as shown here where the snowdrop is, well snowdrop sized!

Narcissus asturiensis is named for the mountainous Asturias region in Northern Spain where it grows at up to 2000m . Galanthus plicatus is named for its leaves which are plicate, that is they have folded back edges. It is native to the Black Sea coastal region, including Crimea as well as Northern Turkey and Romania. The flowers can be larger than the common snowdrop, Galanthus nivalis but in this case not much larger!
