Merchants House and Glasgow Wheel
My train back to Aberdeen was not until the early afternoon, giving me time to wander around the area surrounding George Square. At the end I could not resist a look from higher up and so took a ride on the Glasgow wheel.
The ride lasts about 15 minutes. It provided the opportunity to have closer look at the unusual ship and globe at the top of the Merchants House. This building days from around the same period as the city chambers on the opposite side of the square, about 1880.
So after a day in the city of my birth back to Aberdeen.
