A Week Later Than Last Year

These may look like indistinct smudges but they are actually cranes. Elwetritsche spotted them yesterday and I'd hoped we might see some today. And so it proved, these were spotted trying to gain height a couple of kilometres away and despite offers of help, they stayed quite far away. However, it was lovely to hear them talking amongst themselves again.
