The Birthday Party - Act 1

I'm quite jealous of the two of them... Having a birthday in the middle of summer means it was always a family affair, until I was old enough not to care!

This is party no.1 for Monkey Boy. Party no.2 will be for the afterschool gang on the day, followed by party no. 3 at home. And since Nandad is off to Cheltenham (his birthday present), we'll have party no.4 on Sunday when he's back...

He wanted to join the big boy craze and bring his mates to the cinema, but there was nothing showing! So it's the old reliables - football and bowling - once again. Just a little bit more competitive this year. Next time, I might have to use the red and yellow cards in earnest!
