Wishful thinking . . .

After countless attempts to submit my first Blip, I have finally succeeded in getting the job done. Here we go!

Our day on the Ponderosa started out quite cold, with gray foreboding clouds covering every inch of the sky. These clouds soon let loose their load of rain, which then quickly turned into snow.

By early afternoon though, the snow and rain stopped, the clouds parted and sunshine came pouring out everywhere. During the summer, I can often be found lollygagging on my front porch in one of these two lounge chairs. Seeing them today, bathed in the post-snow sunshine was a welcome reminder of the warmer, drier weather that we will enjoy in a few short weeks.
