Oh no....

What a complete disaster when a deliberately lit fire burns out a large part of a wonderful natural Park

Last Saturday a fire ripped through Bold Park just some 8km from Perth and just down the road from our place in Cottesloe.

This photo shows the aftermath, just 4 days later. Almost no colour in this shot other than the slightest tinge on some of our blackboy trees (now called grass trees)

Walking through it was just so sad as so much of the natural busland has just been wiped out.

Nature being what it is we can only hope that teh coming winter will see part of this regenerate.

I will try and take a few shots in the future to record its recovery.
