Up on the Roof

A day to be looking up, to enjoy this beautiful blue sky.

This is the roof of Pollokshields Burgh Hall in Maxwell Park. I think it is some kind of ventilation shaft. I await an expert to tell me what it is, and give me the correct name of this architectural feature.

I used a polarising filter.
