Bradford Shines

What a lovely day (" lovely" again.. sigh I need to stop!)

A 22 mile run with a friend and am feeling on fire for the Marathon now. We barely swore in the whole 4 hours, we must be finding it easier!! Chilled out with a meal with him and his wife afterwards

Came back through Bradford and caught the last half hour of the opening ceremony. Fireworks, lasers and music and lots and lots of pride in a city that has had it's fair share of knocks. After all the official acts ( " acts" ? What was it? Bradford's got talent??) everyone just free styled it and ran to the fountains. This water park will add something really special to this city and last night was a snippet of a community feel which I hope will continue on and on now.
