Molly and Polly: A Double Act

Steam: First Day, 2012

The steam miniature railway in Cuttesloe Park opened for the 2012 season today. And it was a wonderful day for the event.

We were treated, among other steam attractions, to a double-header train, with Molly in front and Polly behind.

Here are Polly's insides.

And, luckily, both engines are ready to leave at the same time.

Today is the first day of summer time, and it feels like summer. We had a BBQ when we got home, and it was quite light even at 7:30pm. Up in the sky, there was a new-ish moon (we could just see a sliver last night), and Jupiter and, especially, Venus shining brightly against the twilight. Just beautiful!
