Nearly there
This morning the stump of our Wellingtonia/Sequoia stood a metre high. Now it's reduced to size we could do a victory dance on what was really a weed masquerading as a tree. At least if you think a weed is a plant which is unwanted in the place where it happens to be. Tomorrow our fellers are coming to grind the stump right down. At what seems a huge cost. But I must admit they've worked like Trojans - holding a chain saw for most of the day must be very hard work. I'm told the boss's sidekick is a pole called Grigor and he's been shifting huge lumps of wood for hours on end.
By the way is there any real evidence that Trojans ever worked hard or achieved anything apart from stealing Achaean's wives?
