A few fellow cachers & I set up a series of puzzle caches recently. Some of them have been quite easy to solve but two have proved elusive to me so far. #4 on the series was always going to be a tricky one, but I knew that if I found #3 that the hint inside it should give me enough information to solve it (although even though I now have that information, I still haven't solved the puzzle!)

#2 however, was annoying me. I own cache #1 so I already knew the hint for #2 but still I hadn't solved it. This was made worse by the fact that someone else solved it with 'the first thing she tried'. Then tonight I received an email from the owner of #4, she was also stuck on #2, she'd solved it and gave me a teeny tiny hint. This made me go back &^ try something I'd already tried, but this time I did it properly & I got a 'Success' message on the checker.

I know this isn't a great photo, but it means to me that the head scratching I've been doing for the last month is over. Although now I have no excuse for not attempting to solve #4
