Watching and waiting for her cake

I was on the early shift with Ethan this morning and even when hubbie took him to his gymnastics class, I didn't get any sitting down done, but caught up on my ridiculously huge pile of ironing. Why is it that guilt always gets in the way of a good sit down these days??

I then took Ethan over to the 42 household for Miss 42's birthday lunch. They put on a brilliant spread and I had to laugh when Ethan, who usually hates sitting at a table to have a meal, insisted on eating at the table, even though no one else was! He also clocked the birthday cake pretty quickly and was first in line for a slice!

We then went home to pick up hubbie before going into Edinburgh to check out a few furniture shops. Still can't find what we're looking for though.

Popped over to the Foreveryoung household on the way back, to see how Mr Foreveryoung was getting on with building Eden's new climbing frame ... still a long way to go though!
