lost and found!

A day of soft drizzle, much appreciated by the garden, hardly dared to check on the donkeys this morning, after their taste of freedom yesterday, I was certain they would be off again. Sure enough, no sign of them in their field, I suspected there was a nice handsome male donkey in the area! I made an initial search, no luck but let a few neighbours know they were missing.
Earthdreamer was happy to engage in a bit of fencing and we made good all the field boundaries, so whilst he was off on a cycle ride I went too search again, up lanes and boreens but still no donkeys, it was actually nice to connect with a few neighbours who were all very helpful. Late lunch rendezvous and who should appear at the window but the two donkeys, seemingly oblivious to all drama!
Well we are off to supper with freespiral and himself tonight, looking forward to it.
