Enjoy The World of Reptiles

Today I was with Peter van Veen (Moorfotografie.nl) in Reptielenhuis De Aarde (Reptile House The Earth) in Breda. It's a wonderful new home for various species of reptiles and amphibians from around the world.

We made appointments to organize workshops for macro- and close-up photography on the subject of reptiles and amphibians.

On the display you can see a close-up from a Monitor lizard, the Black throated one. Monitor lizards are usually large reptiles - although some can be as small as 20 centimeters (7.9 inch) in length. This lizard has a length from about one meter (39.37 inch).

Next Monday we'll go back for technical preparations ... ;)
