The end of the road...

Today was the final day of the trek. David walked a low route straight out of Chomrong and completed a ten hour walk with our guide, Gopal. The rest of us took a more strenuous route, also taking ten hours, and after all that walking and quite a bit oi sunburn we were glad to find the little local taxis waiting to collect us at the end and take us to Pokhara. This lady was at the teahouse where we stopped for lunch, shelling peas.

We had a lovely celebratory meal in Pokhara and an early night. Alls well ends well.
