He had an MBE, a freeman of the borough.
He loved Scarborough
He loved photography.
He gave me my first SLR.
He had the biggest heart for helping people.
He helped me get to Africa.
He irritated me with his disorganisation for 12 years.
He helped me run the London Marathon.
He was crazy untidy.
He loved chocolate covered peanuts. And Harbour Bar ice cream.
He taught me to love photography.
He was proud of me and always told me.

I owe him more than I can say. I'll miss him. A lot.
Rest in Peace, Max. You're leaving a huge hole.
