Dipper

Walked into town today, with the big 500mm lens on the camera, as you do. Had a look on the Tay for Dippers and we were not disappointed. A pair of birds were "dipping" fairly close to the shore.

I settled myself down on some rocks at river level just opposite where they were feeding and got some good shots. I was reviewing them on the camera when Mrs L says look to your left. There was a bird on my side of the river, no more than fifteen feet away - nice.
