Brittany Says Hello

That's Brittany Figlesthaler saying hello to Jim. (She asked to have her last name included -- it's too complicated to explain.)

Brittany served us our beer and lunch at the Cascade Brewing Barrel House today. When we mentioned that we were from Bellingham, she asked if we knew Jim. Well, we do know Jim. He used to be our favorite waiter at the Copper Hog, and is now bartending at the Kulshan Brewery.

It's a small (beer) world!

We each ordered a sampler of four beers and shared them, then we each had a full glass of our favorite. I picked the Sang Noir, and C's choice was McShagger's Scottish Strong Ale. They were all good, and so was the food. We're going back for more tomorrow.

P.S. Brittany and Jim are both very knowledgeable about beer and food, and provide excellent service.
