To celebrate the successful delivery of the IT project that has been the main focus of work life for over 2 years, we were treated to a Medieval Banquet held in St Katherine's Dockyard in London. Around 150 of us were taken by coach from our Farnborough base and on arrival the more outgoing had the choice of costumes to dress up. The most popular male costume was a monk's habit, while the ladies had free flowing dresses - though later in the evening we did observe one of the more senior, and rather tall, men in a dress.

Between courses, served by winsome wenches, we were entertained by a troupe of singers, dancers and acrobats - while Henry VIII strolled around keeping an eye on things.

My photos for the evening were taken on the compact in a dark space, so quality is not great. So as an experiment really I transferred them to the iPad and used the newly downloaded Snapseed App to post-process them. For a £2.99 piece of software it is surprisingly sophisticated and easy to use. So if I work on getting photos right "in the camera" should provide a convenient way of quickly publishing photos online!
