Tweetie Pie

Yesterday, whilst MrsToad and I were out on our blipping adventure, MrD was busy clearing out the garage and came across this little fella!

We found Tweetie Pie in my father-in-law's shed whilst clearing it out prior to selling. We're not totally clear on it's origins, possibly my F-I-L made it or bought it at one of the many steam rallies he attended. He loved wind-driven automata toys and made quite a few out of junk. When the children were little they spent a lot of time with Taid (Grandpa) and have lovely memories of all the things they did together.

Tweetie Pie now has a new home on the washing line pole and will wizz round when the wind blows reminding us of lots of happy days :-)
