Microdiscectomy

My first time in hospital for an operation and the girls thought it was hilarious to wear the "sick-tub" as a hat.

We had to be there for 7:30 and of course by 7:00 the girls were still sound asleep - why does that never happen on a Sat morning - so poured them out of bed into their clothes and off we went for breakfast in the car.....Sophia kept saying we must be going on holiday!

A couple of hours later the deed was done and despite having a tube coming out of my back things feel a lot better. Fingers crossed the improvement continues.
