Slap bang in the middle of the Magic Roundabout, in the centre of Hemel Hempstead, only inches from the constant traffic this family of swans, mum, dad and six tiny cygnets were enjoying a little snooze.


The river Gade flows under the roundabout, so at least they didn't have to cross the road with their precious offspring.

Jersey Thursday Donovan was the local lad, when I was growing up.
