Didn't Go Quite As Planned

It was all planned out, leisurely day clearing the back garden and then the sun came out.
Up early and into work for 07:45, doesn't take long for the bad habits to come back, then home and French Toast for breakfast. This was by way of a penance for getting Clare up to drive me in.
As a result of the early start I was in the garden by 09:30, bagging earth and putting rubble into flexi tubs. Clare and the children did the three tip runs. About this time, 13:00, we learnt that Mr 'T' and the mini 'T's were on Maenporth beach. A quick power wash of the almost clear back garden, BBQ prepped and off we went to join them.
It has been hot today, the first real hot day of the year, this made it all the more galling to have to go back into work to lock up and set the alarms.
Home for a BBQ with Mr 'T' and the mini 'T's, nice as it was I shall be glad when the gas BBQ is here. I enjoyed two half glasses of wine but given the size of our wine glasses that is the equivalent to almost half a bottle!!
Now settled in front of the TV nursing my sunburn and feeling tired, contented but tired.
