Frost on the road

This is a real road unlike the bucolic image that appeared in the first poster of the forthcoming election campaign.  This road is not straight and has turns off it some of which lead to nowhere.  The sky may be blue now but we know it will not stay that way for long.  Real people live next to this road and it is part of a real, sometimes bleak, landscape.  There is nothing fairytale about this road.
