Progress
This week at work has been hard and unpleasant.
I've struggled immensely with the seeming impossibility of what needs to be achieved and especially with how that has made me feel inside my head. Yet looking back over the week we are further on than we were.
As I came home today I was reminded of something someone once said to me. They acknowledged my despair at the repetitive cycle of depression but pointed out, with the benefit of an outsiders view point, that I had not been travelling in a circle but rather climbing a spiral staircase. I may feel like I had come back to the same point, and in some ways I had, but I was actually a little higher up.
This ammonite is one of my fossils. I love the texture and I have played with the light to try and depict a progressive upward movement.
OK Then. 2 light sources and a hand held flash bounce card to make sure the shadows didn't become too blocky. Setup here
