Floundering on the shore

It's pretty cheap getting to Dunbar and back by train. A quick hop down the coast after ducking into Princes St Gardens to see how the Heart & Soul event went (I'm not a churchy person but I did design the event guide which seemed to be selling at the gates very well).

Upon arrival to the seaside town of Dunbar, it was off to the shore to look for a good spot to fish. This fella put in an appearance after the first five minutes with the rest of the day spent catching nothing and staring out to sea while enjoying the East Lothian sun.
A pint at the Volunteer Arms, a scotch egg from the Co-op and the train back to Edinburgh rounded off a pleasant day.

Wish the Wee Man had been about for the trip.
